In Ordrup, just outside of Copenhagen, Finn Juhl’s House stands as a testament to the enduring appeal of Danish Modern design and its owner’s contribution to it. Fully restored and open to the public since 2008, the 1940s home of pioneering interior designer and architect Finn Juhl resembles an unassuming, L-shaped bungalow from the outside. Inside, the perfectly-preserved open-plan home features furniture designed by Juhl himself as well as his personal collection of arts and crafts. Artworks by the likes of Danish painters Vilhelm Lundstrøm, Egill Jacobsen and Richard Mortensen are also exhibited throughout the space.
