I grew up in the South and remember seeing churchgoers dressed head to toe in yellow and green, with matching shirts, ties and hats. They were never afraid to be declarative with the clothes they wore. Something as simple as color can provoke a profound reaction in people—I’ve always tried to channel that in my approach to fashion, and now also in interiors.
